Me and My Dreams

Lo and behold, I had another dream last night. 'Cept this dream kind of made sense. I can't remember all the little details, but there were aliens attacking earth. They landed their ships and were destroying cities, so these people made a type of war machine thing. It had five different little pods that had a type of protective shield around them. These protected pods were attached to the machine. Two women and three men, one person in each pod, helped control the machine and they started to drive out the aliens. They managed to clear out the city.

My dream then kind of focused on one guy (whose name and description would be...? I can't remember) who was one of the operators of one of the pods that controlled the weapons on the machine. He had to walk through a rectangular room (this part doesn't make sense). The floor of the room was covered with water and there was a silvery walkway leading from the door he came from to the only other door, which was on the opposite side of the room. See-throughish curtains hung from the ceiling in random places. He made his way down without any problems. 

Sometime after that, the war machine had to be put to use again. The aliens were attacking the city again, but in greater numbers. As the war machine went to clear out the aliens, the weapon system failed. Not only did the weapon system fail, but right as some aliens were passing in front of the helpless war machine, one of the guys' (the one who walked through the room) pod protection failed. The aliens noted this, unfortuately for him, and they killed him.
