Fairbanks!

Yes, I am in Fairbanks, AK. I'm here visiting my sista who is in college. Right now we, well, my sis, is trying to figure out mom's new phone. Um...Yeah. I really like the radio up here because it's nice. Ha. No really, they have a good Christian station. I'm pretty sure they have a Christian rock station too, because while we were searching channels we came across Thousand Foot Krutch (an awesome band).

So, we left Psg alright but when we got to Juneau we had to wait on the tarmac for at least 20 minutes for some other plane that was coming in. So we were 20 minutes late to Anchorage and we caught our flight just in time. We literally had 7 minutes before they disconnected the loading thing. The weather in Anchorage was really winding so it was a tough and exciting landing, but the pilot did a good job, methinks. (if you don't know, I like mild turbulence, landing, and taking off) Then we had slight turbulence most of the way to Fairbanks and we sat two rows away from a crying baby, but oh well.

If all goes perfect, where's the story? Anyway, because of the delay and our quick catch of the plane out of Anchorage, the bags we had didn't arrive. So we had to go pick them up later. Luckily, everything is accounted for. Right. Well, I don't know when I'll blog next, so...see ya! (not literally) Bye.

Yeah

I was thinking, "Hey, I haven't posted anything for awhile," so I posted this. And now I'll type some freakishly random story. Let's see...

On October 15, 2009 there was a peanut. This particular peanut was in a package on an airplane flying to Anchorage, Alaska. From the plant to the processors to the package and to the plane had been all the peanut's life. He knew he was raised just to feed hungry people on their flight. But on this day it was not so.

As his package was passed to passenger number 38 and ripped open, the door of the airplane failed. Right as he was pulled out of the package between a finely manicured thumb and forefinger, the door popped off and the pressure fell. Passengers screamed and number 38 let go of the peanut, which flew out the door.

He gained speed as he fell toward earth, accelerating at exactly 9.8 m/s*s. When he finally hit the ground, past the canopy of the forest, and into the moist ground, he left a small, a very small, crater. As he laid there on the ground wondering, "What now?", a porcupine came wondering by and ate the peanut. I would go on to explained what happened afterward, but that would just be gross. Needless to say, the peanut ended up back in the earth.

The end.

Pictue Day!

The title sounds really happy but it isn't. Picture day is almost the worst day of school. Either you forget completely about it or you remember and your hair is like O_o. Then, of course, it's been pouring down rain since last night which only makes walking to school all the more miserable. Actually, I enjoy walking to school anyway, but it sounded like a well put sentence that went with my topic.

Then they always tell you to smile big and you come out looking really cheesy. I'm listening to happy music though so...yeah. That's all because I just remembered I had a question to finish on my physics lab. Bye!

Tess

RRRRRRR. So for AP English I had to read three books over the summer, one of which was Tess of the d'Ubervilles. It was the most difficult to read and what's more, it was rather boring except one part in the end. Anyway, I had to write an essay on whether Tess was an innocent victim of a cruel society or a foolish wimp. I sided with the "Tess is a foolish wimp" part.

When I asked my teacher which side of the argument most people took, she said most of them did not like Tess. It's really a depressing and sad story, but Tess is just a frustrating person.

SPOILER ALERT.
If you, for some reason unknown to me, decide to read this book, discontinue the reading of this entry.

The book was really boring until Tess killed Alec d'Uberville towards the end. That was when it got interesting. At least, for that short bit. Then she just ran off with Angel Clare (her neglectful husband) and then they were caught by the police and she was hanged. Anyway, I really didn't like Tess. You would understand if you read my book. *sigh* I just had to fume for a bit. Well, I guess I should get back to homework. That's all for now. Bye!

La Computadora

In case your all wondering (those who read my blog) I am not dead. I may feel dead, even look dead, but alas! I am not. You see, I was fishing and when I came home at the end of each opening, I didn't really feel like typing on my blog plus I had AP English homework to do and I had to clean the boat and I was really tired. Conclusion: I'm a little lazy.

I finally got my laptop back! Yay! You see, during the summer we have to turn in our laptops, but now I have it back. My last opening (out fishing) is over, obviously. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be here typing this entry. Unfortunately, my sister gave me her cold and now I have a bit of a sore throat, which sucks. Oh well.

I will tell you about this last opening, because I really don't have much else to type about. So it began at noon on Sunday and ended at noon on Wednesday. Sunday was a little wavey and rained buckets. And let me tell you, wind and rain in yo face don't feel nice. Monday we only made two sets and then anchored up for the rest of the day because there was 30 mph wind and 6 foot waves. Our boat is really rolly-polly in waves. Tuesday was wavey in the morning a little but it calmed down. And Wednesday was not very wavey. In fact, as we got further up the Narrows on the way home, the sky cleared right up and down came the beautiful sunlight. The weather this opening made me really appreciate the weather we had a few openings ago. It was hot and sunny and calm. Not exactly good fishing weather, but I liked it.

Well, that's all I have for now. Now I will go put songs on my laptop. Bye!

Music and Plays

So I added some songs to my blog that are all music. Those are the only songs that are completely music, that I like. Don't get me wrong, I do not like musicals or completely instrumental songs. I like lyrics. Anyhow, on with other things.

So I was in a play last night and it was okay. There weren't any huge mistakes, but some people (hint hint) couldn't remeber their lines so they were practically reading from a disguised script and everyone could tell. Oh well. I nearly broke out laughing because some people messed up on their lines and sounded really funny. This might not really matter to anyone, but I managed not to smile during my monologue! Yay! You see, I was the one who "accidentally" murdered Jeffy Thatcher and in the end I admitted it. That's all now. Goodbye!

Field Trip!

Today we (everyone in my school who is taking Biology or Av. Biology) are going on a field trip out to Manmade Hole! Yay! I am really hoping it doesn't rain and I don't think it will because half of the visible sky is blue. I don't have much else to put in this entry. Hmmm.

O yeah, I made a slideshow about spurdnar because she is graduating and I used a song called...I forgot what it was called. Anyway, I put it on a bunch of dvd's so we could send it to relatives, and we had to test each disk to make sure it worked. Mom got teary-eyed every time. I think the song is really what did it. It was about growing your wings, metaphorically. Wow. That's going to bother me until I remeber what it was.

Alright, well that's all for today I guess. Bye!
