Pictue Day!

The title sounds really happy but it isn't. Picture day is almost the worst day of school. Either you forget completely about it or you remember and your hair is like O_o. Then, of course, it's been pouring down rain since last night which only makes walking to school all the more miserable. Actually, I enjoy walking to school anyway, but it sounded like a well put sentence that went with my topic.

Then they always tell you to smile big and you come out looking really cheesy. I'm listening to happy music though so...yeah. That's all because I just remembered I had a question to finish on my physics lab. Bye!

Tess

RRRRRRR. So for AP English I had to read three books over the summer, one of which was Tess of the d'Ubervilles. It was the most difficult to read and what's more, it was rather boring except one part in the end. Anyway, I had to write an essay on whether Tess was an innocent victim of a cruel society or a foolish wimp. I sided with the "Tess is a foolish wimp" part.

When I asked my teacher which side of the argument most people took, she said most of them did not like Tess. It's really a depressing and sad story, but Tess is just a frustrating person.

The book was really boring until Tess killed Alec d'Uberville towards the end. That was when it got interesting. At least, for that short bit. Then she just ran off with Angel Clare (her neglectful husband) and then they were caught by the police and she was hanged. Anyway, I really didn't like Tess. You would understand if you read my book. *sigh* I just had to fume for a bit. Well, I guess I should get back to homework. That's all for now. Bye!
